Peel the potatoes.
Cut the potatoes into pieces
Boil in salted water.
Chop onions Thinely.
Sauted the onions in a pan with olive oil and chopped garlic- Drain the potatoes and proceed to press puree

Add salt and pepper.- Add milk and butter in mashed potatoes.
Put a layer of mashed potatoes in the gratin plate

Add grated Gruyere on the top.- Bake in a oven at 220 °, 15 minutes.
When gratinated on the top, take out from the oven and serve very hot.
