Monthly Gazette February 2012Dinner Valentine's Day
Our thoughts go first to the lovers that we invite to come celebrate their feast on February 14 sharing a good meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Come this year to declare your love at the Petit Tonneau. As dessert Chocolate fondant is a must to complete your romantic dinner. For all couples who reserve in advance two glasses of champagne will be offered. RESERVATION Candlemas, the February 15 to March 14.
Candlemas it’s the day of pancakes. They say that pancake, by their round and gold form, reminds of the solar disc, recalling the return of the dark and cold spring afterwards winter. There is even whole symbolism linked to the ready-to-wear clothes of pancakes at present. It is so recommended to blow up the pancakes of the right hand by holding a golden coin in the left hand to get prosperity during all year. It’s another period of the year when the Frenchmen find another excuse to eat more than they should normally do. You will have the pleasure of treating you with our selection of pancakes from February 15th until March 14th.
Special dinner-Paris Kanko
The travel agency Paris-Kanko in collaboration with Ph.Batton offer online site Paris-Kanko special dinners for lovers of France. Before leaving for France, or to continue your trip after you return to Tokyo. Come immerse yourself in the Parisian atmosphere awaits you at Le petit Tonneau. Le Petit Tonneau Toranomon will be closed from the December 30th. The GALETTE DES ROIS. As tradition commands, Le Petit Tonneau will be serving from January 6th and throughout the month of January the delicious `Galette des rois`, a light and crispy puff pastry pie filled in generously with Frangipane, an almond flavored paste.

The task of finding an exceptional location to host the 10th edition of Le Petit Tonneau Golf Challenge, now in it’s fifth year, was ours alone. To celebrate this auspicious occasion we’ve selected a course to provide you with the most rewarding of experiences.
The Abiding Golf Club House in Chiba, managed by the group PGM is a well-balanced, tricky course with Scottish flair. One of the last courses to be designed by Desmond Muirhead, it is an experience you’ll want to repeat. The Tudor-style clubhouse in this rustic setting, is one of the most unique in Japan.
